In-shop repair services

Diagnosis:

A diagnosis is performed on all computers and printers to pinpoint and verify all issues and determine whether any parts will be required in order to fix the machine. 

Once a diagnosis is completed you will be provided with an explanation of the findings and an estimate of labor and replacement part costs to get your machine back up and running. 

The diagnosis is FREE if you choose to complete the repair with RADIAH.  If you decide not to complete the repair then a diagnosis fee of $39.00 will be charged at the time of pickup.  Should we determine that your machine is beyond repair we will waive the diagnostic fee.

Maintenance and Virus Removal:

The RADIAH 360 Degree is our most popular service.  A technician will scan your hardware and software for any virus or malicious content, cleanse the system, run all available updates, and even blow out the dust for $145. 

In rare circumstances an extra nasty virus will corrupt a system beyond the typical repair and can require additional charges. 

Repairs:

RADIAH approaches In-Shop repairs differently than other computer repair stores.  We won’t ask you to pay us on an hourly basis.  We understand that it would be very difficult for a customer to truly know how much time a repair should take vs. the time that it actually takes and so, each machine that comes to us is evaluated individually and given a repair estimate on a flat fee basis.  That way there are no surprises and you will always know exactly what the invoice total will be when you come to pick up your computer. 

Hardware, Software and Accessories:

We have nearly any computer component, software and accessory readily available at the stroke of a key and we will always offer you the best price we possibly can. 

Please note that payment is required prior to submitting  your order for all hardware parts, software and accessories.  If a part is on back order please allow 7-10 business days for shipping.

Remote Support

With busy work schedules and family we know that dropping your computer off for repairs can be low on the to-do list.  If you are still able to access an internet browser and your email then we can offer remote support.

When you request remote support you will be asked to provide your credit/debit card information at the beginning of the session.  Once your session has ended your card will be processed for the minimum fee and any additional time as listed below.  For your protection we do not keep card information on file.

—  $35 minimum. The minimum fee will cover up to the first thirty (30) minutes.

—  Additional time will be billed at the rate of $79/hr.

Onsite Service

Whether it’s at your home or place of business RADIAH can come to you for all of your service, installs, networking or training needs. 

The onsite service fee is payable to your technician by check or credit/debit card upon completion of the job and is as follows:

  • —  $145 minimum.  The minimum fee will cover up to one (1) hour.  (Call for servers*).
  • —  Additional time will be billed at the rate of $96/hr.
  • —  The service fee is for labor only and does not include hardware, parts, software or other materials.
  • —  For large jobs and servers an estimate with individualized payment terms is required.

Emergency/After Hours Appointments*

RADIAH understands how important a computer system is to both small and large businesses.  Even a few minutes of down time can cost a business owner several hundred dollars.  We will always do our best to respond to an emergency call within 2 hours.  If for any reasons we do not have a technician available to respond within that 2 hour time period we will gladly refer you to an alternate repair service. 

The emergency and after hours service fee is payable by credit/debit card and collected by your technician upon arrival prior to work being performed and is as follows:

  • —  $220 minimum.  The minimum fee will cover up to one (1) hour. (Call for servers*).
  • —  Each additional hour will be billed at an hourly rate of $145/hr.
  • —  Once the technician is in route to your place of business the minimum fee will apply regardless of whether the technician performs actual work or not. 
  • —  The service fee is for labor only and does not include hardware, parts, software or other materials.

 

 

*RADIAH defines after hours as any same day service call between 6:00 pm and 9:00 am Monday-Friday and any service requested at any time on Saturday or Sunday unless previously scheduled and/or agreed upon.

*RADIAH defines “emergency” as any service request that requires same day service unless previously scheduled and/or agreed upon.
